This is another story from Mary Schramski's creative writing class, but this was not a homework assignment like some of the other stories posted on this website.
I wrote this in class in about ten minutes, after given the prompt, "Where will your writing take you?"

Where Will Your Writing Take You?
Imagine waking to the sound of chirping sparrows, beads of dew trickling down leaves on a foggy morning. Imagine wandering beside tranquil ponds unruffled,
with swans watching and then frolicking in the water, disturbing only visions of youth.
My pen will be there beside me, walking as I walk. I may stumble on dirt mounds grasping feet beneath or fall into trenches deep, but I will never lose that desire to share with my pen the memories, the dreams, and the experiences of a lifetime. Where my pen goes, I will follow. Wherever we go, we'll call home.
The End
