Bulkowski's Ascending Triangle Quiz

Released 12/13/2019.

Ascending Triangle: Quiz

Below is a slider quiz to test your ability to identify ascending triangles and trade them. Captions appear below the pictures in red for guidance, so be sure to scroll down far enough to read them.

1 / 7
chart pattern
Shown in red is an ascending triangle (A). Point B is the apex of the triangle. C is where price is supposed to turn. If you draw the triangle's trendlines accurately, the apex should be a turning point. The turn may not amount to much or it can be substantial. But this works surprisingly well.
2 / 7
chart pattern
Find as many ascending triangles as you can. For help, click here.
3 / 7
chart pattern
I show one triangle, in red, at A. B marks the turn although this missed it by a day (it's usually accurate within 2 bars on either side of the target).
4 / 7
chart pattern
Let's try again. Find as many triangles as you can
5 / 7
chart pattern
The triangle is in red. That was easy, wasn't it? One more...
6 / 7
chart pattern
This triangle has broken out downward. How far will price drop, to line A, B, C, D, or none of them?
7 / 7
chart pattern
Line A is the winner.
