Bulkowski's Diamond Tops Quiz

This diamond is a stinker, isn't it? But it's typical of the kind of diamond's you'll find in the dirt. Price is supposed to widen out in the first half of the pattern, forming higher peaks and lower valleys. In the second half of the pattern, the trend reverses with a converging trend. Volume slopes upward in this example, and that's unusual but not by much (meaning 59% see a downward volume trend). The breakout can be in any direction, but is downward 57% of the time.
